Jane Lynch and Laura Embry’s divorce was finalized recently and has left the erstwhile couple on amicable terms.

Jane Lynch Divorce Finalized

Lynch and psychologist Embry managed to bring about the end of their marriage in a civilized manner, reported TMZ. In the settlement, Lynch will pay Embry spousal support, though less than the $93,000 a month she was asking for. Also, the Glee actress will keep the home the couple was living in, which she had purchased.

Soon after news of the impending divorce broke over the summer, Lynch was quick to note that she and Embry planned to maintain a friendly relationship. “All's good,” Lynch told Larry King at the time. Referring to Embry’s 11-year-old daughter Haden Embry, she added, “We have a little girl – she has a little girl who's very dear to me." They all reportedly spent time together over the holidays.

Lynch filed for divorce in July 2013, citing irreconcilable differences. She met Embry in 2009 before marrying in 2010 in a small ceremony in Massachusetts.

With the divorce behind her, Lynch can now turn her focus back to her career. On Jan. 25, the comic actress will host the 66th annual Directors Guild Awards. Glee will return to Fox following its winter hiatus on Feb. 25.
